Mac emulation

Legally - nothing.

Mac OS X should be run on Apple hardware. The earlier versions of Mac OS X should be run always as native versions, but 10.5 and 10.6 Server versions could be also virtualized with a few specific software, as long as still running on Apple hardware.

Unless you really have a reason to use an OS emulator, stay away from them. They are slower, more inefficient, and don't use resources as well as a software that does OS virtualization does. Some people out there have managed to virtualize Mac OS X and run it on their peecee, but here we won't be discussing that as it's 1) against Apple rules (Mac OS X must be installed on Apple hardware), and 2) against the forum rules -- even if you buy your original, retail Mac OS X discs from Apple, the rule 1 makes it be seen as software piracy (or as RIAA tries to currently lobby, theft as piracy can sound kind of cool) or treif aka unkosher. There are sites out there that will be more interested in helping you achieve OS X on a peecee, so you may want to search for those sites.

Or if you want to get a Mac (a second hand will do fine too) and get Mac OS X installed there, we'll help you here :)
