PC's are thrown out way before Macs and I bet other bran MP3 players would be trashed before an iPod. Can someone burn that display if they see it at any other Mac Expo please

"they" can attract media's attention because of apple's coverage, doesn't mean they don't have the right to express their opinion. They would demonstrate against for instance Lenovo, if applicable, the message wouldn't change except for working conditions I guess.

So IMO it's more a matter of form rather than @ rock bottom consumerism and the waste it creates.

Ummm...okay. I see a bunch of old CRT iMacs there, but really, that applies to ALL CRTs, not iMacs. It has nothing to do with Apple in particular. I think the same goes for iPods. And doesn't Apple actually offer an iPod disposal/recycling service?
