My G3 has problems powering up after being in sleep mode.
After being in sleep mode it frequently will not power up when the Enter or other keys are pressed. It seems to happen almost always if the mouse is moved while waiting.
To recover I usually disconnect the power cord,reconnect,press reset and hold in the power on key.
