hello I have macbook pro and have partitioned my drive to run windows also mostly for games. after a hour of running a windows game the machine just goes to sleep. this wouldnt be a big deal but upon waking it up the game always freezes up. I have already set the power save never shut down or sleep in macos. does anybody have any ideas why this is happening? Thanks

Are you booted into Windows or using Parallels or VMWare? If you're booted into Windows (completely, no Mac OS running), then the energy settings of Mac OS X have _no_ effect at all. You'd have to edit Windows' energy settings instead.

It could be that the notebook gets too hot. Are all BootCamp drivers installed correctly?

I am booted into windows and I have also edited the windows power settings. the tempreture is steady at about 170. I believe the drivers are all there as windows runs perfectly except during this one game. I guess I could try keeping it cooler with some other fan. Also a split second before it sleeps I see the windows login screen that says standby. when I wake it Its back at the login screen and just says user with one program running.
