Mac Mail wont fetch email from pop accounts

My mac mail account wont fetch my mails from pop accounts...console message reads: error for database.
SQLite error code:1 SQL logic error or missing database during invocation..

This happened it seems like after the clock for some reason was set back to 1969 for some odd reason - I reset it back to today and this happened.

Some mail messages go through, but not all.

The clock reseting is caused by a PRAM battery failing in your Mac. Consult www.iFixIt.com and find you macs manual and see where the battery is and you can buy a new PRAM battery and install it yourself. Just make sure you went to System Preferences->Date & Time and selected your closet automatic Time Server.

The errors was because your time was so off from the ISP email server's clock. Also in Mail you can always dig down into email server problems by going to Mail's menu item "Window" and select "Connection Doctor". With this you can see the server's error message to Mail and really trace down a server communication problem, to help you in trouble shooting.
