.Mac maintenance

Sorry if in wrong forum...

Got email from .Mac today about some maintenance they are doing, but the interesting thing is when it takes place, January 22nd - 23rd.

Could this mean some changes to .Mac with upcoming Mac Mini release?

Maybe .Mac will be upgraded to entice switchers, who are buying the Mini?

I think it has to do with probably server or storage updates/upgrades.

Think Satcomer is right. Probably ready for a larger up take of the .mac services as more people move over from PC to MAC.
