Mac Mini plays 1080p HD fine... except from CBS.com

CBS.com launched the ability to play 1080p shows streaming from online. I have been trying to watch them with my Mac Mini, but even after I leave it buffering for a while, the movies are still choppy. It plays fine on my 2.4ghz MacBook Pro. Is there anyway to make this stop being laggy? I'm assuming the video player CBS is using isn't as optimized for playing 1080p as QuickTime.
 
... which is a dog on Mac OSX compared to Windows – blame Adobe for that. Playing 1080p content encoded for Quicktime will be MUCH smoother than the same using using Flash.
