Mac Mini Starts then Switches Off-Help?

I have a 12 month old Mini, 1.42 Combo that has been working fine until just recently. It started to switch off at random just like the plug had been pulled from the wall. I did a hardware check and nothing was reported so on reading some postings, I reset the PMU and for a while it worked fine. However, today it decided to only hold power for a couple of minutes.

What I have noticed is that if I leave it plugged in to the power socket it never seems to want to re-start. If I unplug it and wait a few minutes before re-inserting the power plug and trying again it fires up.

Could this be as simple as a faulty power supply or do you think it may be more sinister?

Hi Tony,

For the misfortunate 35 people that read your post but didn't know the answer, it was simply that your power pack was up the shoot.

You found that out by buying another one didn't you
