Mac Os 10.4 With Airport

I have a G4 powerbook from 2004
since I upgraded to OS Tiger I have a problem using my roommates
internet service with my airport as I have always done.
I get a strong signal but I can not connect to the internet.
Is there something I can do in my settings?

Hi constantin and welcome to the forum.
Does the router of your friend have WEP or WPA activated? You might need to ask him for the key to access the network.
