Is there any standalone software for Mac that can filter and examine HTTP headers by acting like a proxy?
Alternatively, is there any add-on that I can add to the Opera browser that can filter headers?
 
No, I want certain content eliminated from certain headers. For instance, I would like referers removed from the browser's request header unless that browser is following links within a given website, or etags removed altogether. I would also like to have no-cache settings removed from a web server's response header.
