I have a PowerBook G4 1.25 GHz running a clean install of Mac OS X 10.4.1. I tried using System Optimizer 4.7 to enable Window Buffer Compression but whenever I enable it and restart, it would go back to being "disabled".
I tried trashing the preference file for System Optimizer 4.7.
I tried re-installing System Optimizer 4.7.
I even tried trashing com.apple.windowserver.plist.
But none of them worked.
Any ideas? Thanks.
