Mac OS X 'Panther': What is it?

Of course, it's the codename for Apple's newest release of Mac OS X. What I want to know is if anybody has any sort of information on it? Will this be the 10.3 that everyone is thinking of? Hopefully Apple have fixed up some of the speed issues not to mention some others into this update. I think that they'll even include the full version of Safari when it's released. Who knows...
