Running Mac OS9.2.2 Suddenly start to get and error message "There is not enough RAM" when trying to save an attachment in Microsoft Outlook. Same thing with Adobe Photoshop - when trying to save an EPS file.
During several freezes, suddenly my mac stop recognize any extensions. When used Microsoft Outlook and tried download an attachment got an error message type 3. So I create a new set in extensions manager and get ride of Type 3 error, but get a new error message "Not enough memory" when try to save an attachment, or "Not enough RAM" - when try to save an EPS file in Adobe Photoshop.
I have no one to ask. Tried to figure out myself, but so far no luck...
Please help!

I think the problem is... you don't have enough RAM.

Programs like Photoshop eat RAM up like crazy. When using a program like that, check and see if there are any other programs open.

What happens after a while is RAM gets broken up so that you may have say 128 MB of RAM free, but after opening and closing programs it gets broken up. So you might have 128 MB free, but it could be in 32 MB chunks, which is not enough to run most programs. What you can do is before you open up a large program, close all running programs or just restart. This will restore those broken up chunks and then you will have enough RAM (supposing actually do have enough installed).

There's also another really easy fix to this and that is to buy more ram. Look here for some.
