Mac OSX 10.4

I new too Macs .

I try installing a new Hard drive in G3 without any success also
try installing with C key no help All it does just flicks a Question mark ?


Need Help ? it had Mac OSX 10.4 but parition got mess up in old hard drive.

BTW hawk3232, starting with the C key you neeed a Startup CD or DVD in the drive

What model G3?
Is the Tiger disc a store bought disc, or from another machine?
Are the jumpers set correctly on the new hard drive?

To Bobw: No a friend gave a copy to use to fix the problem and yes the jumper are set correctly..

Chances are the copy of Tiger you have is for a specfic model Mac, won't install on your machine.
