Mac Pro Keyboard

Question for those who may be knowledgable. Apple's Pro keyboard for the iMac G4 is quite nice. However, if you pour a coke into it - it's ruined forever it appears. Is there any place that sells the apple pro keyboard that doesn't run $70?

It is my understanding that Microsoft's USB keyboard works quite well. Just wondering. Any suggestions are welcomed.

if you don't want to spend a ton o' money get a macally keyboard. don't get a PC keyboard since they don't have command and they have the "windows" key. also www.coolmacstuff.com has a cool coke-proof and virtually indestructible keyboard.

I wrap my keyboard loosely with SaranWrap. It doesn't impede my use of it and protects it against spilled beverages and dust. It keeps it looking like new too.

Albeit a bit weird

I'm only joking. I would (will) be mighty pissed off if (when) I spill stuf into my keyboard. The pricing for the Pro Keyboard isn't TOO bad, but they charge FAR too much for their Pro Mouse.

Do you have plastic over your furniture are carpeting as well?
