Mac Sync asking for password

Greetings, I hope I'm not posting it twice, but I can't find the one I posted earlier with my new username. I'll stick to my old username.

Every hour or so, Mac asks me to enter my keychain password in order to sync. I thought this would be the same as the user account password for the system administrator (and only) account.

The screen looks exactly like this:

gfu5bo

As you can see, the text in the dialog box tells me, "to synchronize the keychain on this computer, enter the password for your user account on ".....'s Computer". To the left of that is the orange sync icon. This has never happened to me before.

The user account password is working; I've tried it with other tasks requiring it. Why won't it work for sync? Is there a way to clear out whatever is in there and be prompted for a new password or, better yet, no password? There is no reason for me not to want sync. It's one of the things I love about OS X.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rafagon
