Mac to Pc problem

first, sorry my bad english.
i use 10.4.6 g5
i work in a university and we use an win server... when i open my computer today, i couldn't connect another win xp... delete alias fix alias..bla blaaa.
i tried smb://xxx.xx.x./shared folder it asked me password... first i used my pass then i used xp's owner pass but no solved

yesterday everything was fine... what happened today?
any idea pleasee..

What most likely happen is someone "upgraded" or "patched security" on the server you usually connect to. First all contact however runs that share and ask them if something changed. Also remember to always read MacWindows. I find the links off the right side (on the first page) are invaluable in using a Mac in a Windows environment.
