macbook doesnt accept any cds

Each time I enter a cd into my macbook it spits it out after a second or two. I've tried this with several burned cds and new store-bought cds. Anyone know anything I could try?

First thing is to Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM. Then take a compressed air can (with those little straws that hook in the nozzle), tip the Macbook to 30 degree angle, then blow the dust out of the drive. Then get one of the CD/DVD laser cleaning disk and run it.

If these steps don't cure it you will have to replace that drive.
