MacExpo UK

MacExpo 2002 in London is a month away.

I'm not familiar with MacExpos. I mean, I hear about Apple announcing things at *MacWorld* expos, but I can't recall anything big being announced at a MacExpo. Of course, I don't really follow conventions much anyway, so maybe there has been something announced at a MacExpo in the past.

Is a MacExpo a big thing? Does Apple announce anything significant at MacExpos? If they do, what do you think will be announced at MacExpo 2002 in London?

Dear All,

MacExpo UK is a venue where a lot of Mac suppliers and software developers appears to try and sell you their products and services.
Apple, I don't think, has done a surprise launch of a new product line. Last year, Apple launch the iPod in the UK, nothing much, considering the iPod was avaliable in the US for a few months.
Sometimes, Apple doesn't even show up! In 1999 and 2000, Apple didn't make a apperance. I don't think there was a Expo in 2000!

A low key event in my honest opinion.

Roll on MacWorld 2003...!
