macosx.com widget

Has anybody thought of making a macosx.com widget for tiger, or has this already been done?

Zeiss is developing a widget to help with the tech support side of things (there is a post in the Volunteer forum, for those who have signed up to give tech support), and the mockup looks very nice. Otherwise, i'm not sure what a macosx.com widget would be for. There was one for Konfabualtor which showed new posts, but i think it was just RSS based, and no point having a dedicated widget just for that, better use safari or a general RSS widget.

Konfabulator, which already has a widget is far superior to dashboard. It is a shame that apple did not work with those folks to develope a better widget system for OS Tiger, I am back to my Konfabulator and my widget for OSX.com.

I was bored one night and was curious and made one that parses the rss feed and makes links, it is really ugly because i am not very artistic and it doesn't refresh automatically

Isn't that what RSS in Safari is for? Am I missing something?
