(Hi Zammy! How do I know Trier, you ask? ... Don't they keep some of Jesus' clothes at Trier, specifically the tunic with which he was crucified? They bring it out in a great procession every 33 years or so ... an old great-grand aunt of mine went there and brought back a medallion for me once. BTW I am as good as half German, even though I live in the Netherlands.)

(Hey Cat. Gotta admit: am not into religious things and had no clue about this sight of Trier. I just know it because it's close to my place. However, Saarland (this is the region it belongs to) is a wonderful spot in germany. Worth to not let your great-grand aunt travel alone.
