Been looking into adding some fast external storage via an eSATA PCI express card and an eSATA/FW800/FW400/USB2.0 HD enclosure with a Seagate 750 GB Barracuda drive inside. Got the drive and probably enclosure (http://www.cooldrives.com/qucosaiienes.html) figured out, but I'm trying to get some suggestions on a 2-port PCI express card to put inside my MacPro desktop, running OS X.4.9, with 2 X 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel chips and 5 GB of RAM.
There are lotsa choices online with varying prices and specs, does anyone have experience (good or bad) with any eSATA PCI express cards, just looking to narrow the field a bit. Any brands, model numbers, specs, price ranges things to look for would be helpful. EZQuest, MaxExpress...
