I can't believe they didn't do anything about the price of the iPods. 
It was already kinda high at the $400 level, and now they expect an extra hundred bones for just a 10 gig HD? I really hoped there would be more features on the upper version to justify that kind of price increase (or is Toshiba selling the larger HD for $100 more?).
Also the ability to input contact info without needing a Mac to set it all up first would be nice too, but maybe that will come later.
And the whole laser-engraving thing? pffft. you can get that done somewhere else for like $20 dollars and it doesn't have to be limited to text and only 1 font.
