mail.app and imap trash, sent drafts

I am currently using mail.app 2.1 and cannot get it to use the folders it created to store sent messages, drafts and put the deleted emails int he trash. I have 7 different IMAP accounts set up and I would like to separate the drafts, sent and trash folders for each of them. Is This possible with mail.app?

I tried changing the path to INBOX but that took the folders out of their respesctive folders. I also tried doing the "Use this for..." trick, but that was not acceptable either.

Anyone know another way? Thanks

I have 11 IMAP accounts set up in Mail 2.1 and the hierarchy is fine. That is to say for each account there is a corresponding Drafts, Sent and Trash folder.

I have it set up to save messages on the server. Go into an account then click Mailbox Behaviors. You'll find options for whether or not each type of message should be stored on the server.

I like it this way because it lets me think of Mail as a kind of browser. It also means that if I should access the accounts via Web Mail the folder structure and contents will be exactly what I see in the Mail app.

Yeah, All of those options are checked to store the messages on the server. I decided to go with the "Mailbox > Use This Mailbox For" option until I find something better. At least this way Sent, Drafts, and Trash actually work, they are just under the generalized categories of Drafts, Sent, and trash instead of each having a trash folder in their own directory.
