Mail app locks up on certain pop accounts

The mail app that comes with OS X keeps locking up on me when accessing one of my pop email accounts. It works fine for a while, then will just hang "Fetching new mail". If I stop the fetch, it will hang on Stopping. It doesn't seem to have a problem with other pop email accounts and the email accounts are off the same mail server from @home.com.

Anyeone seen similar problems?
