I just updated to Tiger last week, and have been having some problems with Mail as a result. I just solved one problem today, and another has now taken its place: the "sent mail" mailbox for an IMAP account i have no longer appears in the mailboxes list. How do i get it back?

thanks,

jascha

This can be caused by a number of issues, including corrupted local folders, or sometimes I've even seen where sometimes the send mail folder sometimes gets put inside another IMAP folder accidentally. If you click on "Inbox" and do command + I (get info), it can tell you a lot about the structure of your IMAP inbox on the server

ah, this is helping. getting info tells me that i have a "sent mail" folder for this IMAP account with all my sent mail in it (5 MB worth). however, this folder isn't on my home computer, it's on the server - the copies i had on my own computer are gone. when i ask Mail to synchronize this IMAP account, it doesn't seem to want to download the "sent mail", even though i've made sure the box which says "Store sent messages on server" is un-checked.
