mail application wont open after 10.2.1 install

hi,

after installing the new update, 10.2.1, the mail app wont open - it seems to "try" to open, but doesnt get as far as a window or anything, just quits. It did go a little weird before the update install - a whole lot of messages disappeared from my inbox after getting an odd message about not being able to download from the server or something (I can't remember the exact message).

Any ideas??

Are you accessing it via your dock or the actual app? Sometimes the things in the dock may loose the origional during updates or what not. Then they jump a few times and quit.
