Mail does not display all mail for IMAP account

Hello,
Using Mac's Mail program for some reason does not display all the mail I have in my Inbox. This is an IMAP account. If I use Thuderbird on the same machine (or other machines) with the same settings, I do see all my mail in my inbox. Does anyone know if there is some Mail setting/preference that I am missing? Any other thoughts?

OK, it looks now like Mail is displaying all my email messages in my inbox. However, the problem it is now having is listing the DATE and TIME of receipt for each email. It is completely getting this wrong (Thunderbird, on my Mac or on my PC) has the correct time stamp.

Any ideas on what might be causing this to err?
