Mail duplicate messages

All of a sudden every message I receive in Mail is duplicated. There have been no system changes or anything else I can figure to explain this. Keychain has only my single account and I do not have .mac. Any ideas?
 
Do you have two accounts in your mail? Could it be it started after the 10.3.3 update or which os are you using?
Try to use the option to delete mails from the POP server immediately after downloading to the local disc. If nothing works, try to repair permissions and check again..
