What happened to being able to have mail from an account appear in it's own mailbox?

It disappeared when I upgraded to 10.2 :(

Presumably you're supposed to use a rule instead?

there shoudl be a little triangle next to the inbox in Mail...

if you click on it, it will open and show all individual mailboxes. mail for each mailbox should be in the proper inbox here.
