My regular mail has been giving me some problems because usually whe I open an emailit stays in the windeow and uses the bottom of it to open it.. But now it opens a new email in a new window and its kinda anoying so any help would be lovely please! By the way the mail im talking about is that program called "Mail" which is already installed on the mac when its new..

Do you still see the vertical split between the top and bottom parts of the listing/message display pane? If you only see the listing area, then look at the bottom of the window for a small line with a dot in the middle of it.

Double-click on that bar, or drag it up, and you should see the message display pane below it.
