Mail question

I have been asked by a relative if there is anyway that a check can be made to see if mail sent out is not opened?

She is using Mail in OSX and she sends out newsletters which, in some cases, she has been told have not been delivered, but has not had them bounced.

I cannot see how this could be done but you never know....?

If this is (as I suspect) an impossibility please let me know and I will pass the bad news on.

Thanks

If a recipient's mail server (and/or client) simply trashes it as spam, it won't bounce and the recipient won't read it. Problem solved?
