I try to install a mail server with MacOS X 10.1.2 and Tenon's iTools on an iMac Indigo 500 MHz.
Labo network : DNS with QuickDNS on an old iMac, the server and my TiBook.
Web server works fine, but mail server is really too slow. Even in terminal session, with telnet, on the server itself, it takes minutes (yes : minutes) to check a mail account or to send a very small message.
Did someone encounter this king of pb ? Could somebody help me ?
Maybe I did something wrong ? Or maybe OS X (not server) is not a good choice to do this ?...
