I made a partition called "SCRATCH" which now stores the swap file for OS X
that I found at
http://www.bombich.com

The swap files are stored in a folder called vm
so the path is
/Volumes/SCRATCH/vm

How do I make the vm folder hidden?
I tried adding this to the .hidden file on the OSX Volume
/Volumes/SCRATCH/vm
but that didn't work

I also copied the .hidden to the SCRATCH volume and tried
/Volumes/SCRATCH/vm
/vm
vm
VM Storage

none of these worked either.

Anyone have a solution?

Nevermind!
Coela solved the problem. It rocks on OS 9

Now onto moving the /Users to its own volume
Yes I know I won't be able to add Users thru the System Preferences and that's even better since the coworkers that will be using these computers can't create new users.
