Make External Burner Show in Disk Utilities??

How do I do it? I've seen a patch on the net before.. but i can't find it now.. I need to burn a DVD movie image.. what should I do?

Toast gives me an Error after like 2/3 of the burn.. I've tried both 4X and 2X.. same error.. =(
 
We'll need to know the model of the external burner to help you.

There is a utility called "PatchBurn" that will give you native iApp support with your external burner, but again, we need to know what brand and kind of external burner it is.
