Making a disk image

Hi,
can someone tell me how to make a disk image so I can put the upgrade up for FTP? do I need third-party software to do this?

To make a disc image, get Aladdin's Shrinkwrap. It is a free demo download and will make a perfect copy of your CD. Just install the app and drag the CD onto the ShrinkWrap icon.
