Making G3 into backup server

Is is possible for my G3 to act as a Http Backup server, so it downloads the web page to the HD the site every hour or so?
If so how? what apps? what hardware? what other stuff? and is it easy?

If I had to do it, I'd put OpenBSD on it and set up a cron job to do the automated downloads.

You should also be able to do it with a Linux distro. Something like the server version of Ubuntu 6.06 might be best since it's more GUI oriented than OpenBSD.
