Making My Mac Wireless -Help!

I have a Mac and also my brother has a PC. I want to make them both Wireless. I know for a PC you can buy a Wireless card (usb). All the wireless cards I looked at are only for PC's. Are there any made for Apples/Mac?

My Mac is an OS X Version 10.4.11 and my PC is running on Windows 98.

I do not know anything about turning my computers wireless. Will the same router for a PC work for a Mac or do I need to get two. Also on the apple.com website they have "Airport" items. Would any of those be my best bet in making my Mac and PC Wireless at the same time?

Thanks. I'm in the dark

1) If you want internal wireless card, you HAVE to get an Apple card. You didn't state your Mac model, but there is the original 'b' card, and the newer 'g' Extreme card. You'll need to research which you need.

Any wireless router will work for both PC & Mac, some better, some worse. Apple's are quite good, but a bit pricy.

You can check the website afterthemac.com
They have a USB adapter you can look at. I bought one for an iMac G3 and it works just fine. It's also compatible with Leopard as well. I also saw a USB adapter at Bestbuy recently. ( forget who makes it though )
By the way, I have 2 Macs and two windows machines all wireless thru a Linksys router with no problems. And all with different wireless options
Good luck!
