man not working since I installed Jaguar ??

The "man" command is not working anymore on my mac since I installed Mac OS X 10.2. No idee why.
Hitting `man any_command' on my term returns with:
<<
/usr/bin/man: illegal option -- C
man, version 1.1

usage: man ...
>>

Never had this before. Does anybody have encountered such a problem ? Or have a solution ?

I had a similar (maybe identical) problem. I fixed it my removing the fink version of man (/sw/bin/man, I think). If you use fink, this is probably the cause.

type 'which man' to see which version of man is being run.
