map network drive when connecting to specific Wireless network

Is there a straight-forward way to launch a script (or some other action) to map a network share (e.g. a samba share) when a mac (10.5/6) connects to a specific SSID?

for example, when connecting to network "foo", a system automatically maps "smb://foo.com/share".

all help is appreciated.

This is easier then you think.

1. Make sure you checkmark in Finder's Preferences to show 'Connected Server'.

2. Mount the share and log into it if you have to making sure you save the password in your Keychain.

3. Navigate to /Users/YourUser/Documents/ and make a new folder calling it "Connect Shares" or anything you want. Leave that finder window open the new folder and right click the connected share and make an alias and move it to that new folder. Do this for every new server you make!

4. Drag the new folder to the right side of your Dock. Now when you click on the alias in the dock for that server it will connect you to that server.

5. Smile for thinking about this. :o

If you have a share on your own network you can open System Preferences->Accounts and click on the "Login items" and click the + button to add the share to your login items.

Warning: Only do this if you have a desktop mac you keep on that single network.
