Hi
I am a graphic designer - I have started working freelance so am have begun to use my own equipment for real jobs rather than 'fun'. I am having real problems with the colour output from my printer (HP Deskjet 1220c): ().
On screen, the colours match the actual Pantone swatches I am using to specify colour. When I print these, they look nothing like the screen colour/or the Pantone swatches.
I have searched for info on how to remedy this and just can't seem to find an answer that seems appropriate to the problem.
I am aware that the HP Deskjet is not a hi-end professional printer - is this the problem? (My client printed my colour selections on an Epson and they matched my Pantone swatches, whereas my printout of the SAME file looked like a totally different set colours, (it was quite embarrassing).
