Maxtor IDE ATA-133 Adapter

I have the Maxtor 160gb drive and no the supplied adapter will not work in OS X. I don't think it worked in OS 9 now I think of it.
Look at my sig and that will tell ya which one I use. I recommend it. You will need to get an updated driver from their site to get the full functionality of the 160gb drive. The update does not patch the firmware, so if you ever reformat your system, be sure to reinstall the drivers. I found this out after redoing mine. The drive still worked correctly, but when you get info on the drive OS X says it's a 128gb drive even though all your data may add up to much more than that (weird stuff).
Anways.. the Acard 100+ controller is a good card to use for large capacity drives.
