I recently upgraded from a 1.5ghz Powerbook G4 to a 2.4ghz MacBook Pro. Everything works great, except for the DViCO FusionHDTV USB HDTV tuner I was planning on using. http://www.fusionhdtv.co.kr/eng/Products/HDTV5usb.aspx

Whenever I plug it in, I get this error
attachment.php
The HDTV tuner hasn't had any power problems on other computers, including my Powerbook, a Dell Desktop, an Averatec laptop, and a desktop I built myself.

Is there something wrong the UBS ports on my MacBook Pro, or does Apple just not give the ports enough power?

Try using an USB hub with external power. This should solve your problem and will save the batterij in your laptop.

Good luck, Kees
