I have a PowerPC G5 1,8Ghz, with 1024Mb (512+512) of memory.
and i recently buy more 512Mb (256+256) of memory, but when i start the mac with the new memory installed the mac seems work well.
But when i open nicon program, that i have in my mac, the system crash and appears a text on the screen. And the last sentence is ".....Memory Debugger". The letters appear in black.
And when i put the Mac running only with the 2 256Mb he works well, the problems is when i put the 2 512Mb and the 2 256Mb.
Can someone help finding a solution for this.
I'am out of ideas.

The G5 is a bit odd with RAM like that. You need pairs of the same size (which you do have), and the pairs have to be in specific slots. This article tells you what slots to put them in. If that doesn't work, it could just be the wrong kind of RAM. Who did you order the RAM from, and what were the specs?
