here a new one for you, my menu bar clock just vanished when I opened up Internet Explorer. Checked Sys prefferences and it says that is running. Aint that some sh!t.

mine is still there and still displaying the date in a different format from what i set it to in system preferences->international

My menu bar clock is still there but it changed itself to 24 hour time. I have 12 hour time selected in my International control panel. I opened up the control panel, confirmed that it was selected (the radio button was on) but I just clicked it again anyway, and it switched to 12 hour time again.

the time display in the menu bar updates instantly if i switch between 24 an 12 hour time, but the grey date you see when pulling down the menu refuses to honour my date and time settings from the international prefs. in fact the time in the menu bar is, correctly, in 24 hour format, but in the gray date and time menu line it is in 12 hour.
jasoco... are your date and time formats set to anything other than "U.S?" if not then you wouldn't see any problem anyway.

hmm...my clock disappears when I have an app launched but works normally when i return to finder. I have ASM installed as i just couldn't seem to break the habit of reaching for that corner. this makes checking time a little easier when using a full screen app. This clock glitch does make it too easy to lose track of time. I've been thinking of putting a real clock in the room anyway - guess this is my sign from above !
