I have a brand new Dual 867 G4 running OS 10.2.2. After the machine has been running for a while, sometimes not even a day, and I try to connect to the internet via the menu bar phone jack, the phone jack will freeze along with the other menu bar items (sound, date, etc). If I hover the pointer over that part of the menu bar, I get the spinning rainbow wheel. Consequently, when this happens and I have iTunes running, iTunes will not quit normally and I will have to force quit. I've installed the firmware update and the 10.2.2 update. I noticed that after I installed the 10.2.2 update that ASP will unexpectedly quit after it has only been running for a moment. I booted from the install CD, verified both of my drives and repaired disk permissions. Still having this problem. Anybody else having this problem or know what could be causing it? This is really pissing me off considering this is a brand new machine.
