I have, through fiddling activated a menu extra that (I don't think) is us usually available. It is an eject menu (presumably specific to some computers, but not min) that sits next to my ichat menu in the menubar. It allows me to open my drive (which is slot loading... so nothing happens) and to eject Cds (it gives the name).. I opened it from the folder "Menu Extras" in the "Core Services" folder in the system folder. Now, though some people may find that interesting, I now want to know how to get rid of it, safely. I have logged in as root and removed it from the folder, and when I log back in it isn't there, which is fine. But if I put it back (using root) it then reappears. how do I have it where it is mant to be in the folder, whilst not having it activated? (incidentaly this is user specific thing as it is not enabled in root.)
