Hi,

I have been upgrading my machine from 10.4 (all updates included) to 10.5

Machine: Model: PowerBook5,3, BootROM 4.7.1f1, 1 processor, PowerPC G4 (1.1), 1.33 GHz, 1.5 GB

Upgrade went without problems and I immediately installed update to 10.5.2 (I have not enough internet connection to download 10.5.3).

When I started using the computer things seemed to be wrong:

- It took spotlight more than 12 hours to index - finally succeeded
- iPhoto does not work anymore (Error message: Library not loaded: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/HTMLDisplay.framework/Versions/A/HTMLDisplay
Referenced from: /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/MacOS/iPhoto
Reason: image not found)
- I cannot make any entries anymore in addressbook (tried reinstall from OSX DVD - no effect)
- Applications do not quit on logout - need to stop OSX "hard" (but pushing the button)

On performing a permissions repair (takes an hour to run - although it says that it will take less than a minute) I get:
ACL found but not expected on "Applications"
ACL found but not expected on "Library"

This problem remains.

Additional information:
I have about 15Gb free space

Did anyone have similar problems? What can I do? How to get the system in order again.

Thanks,

Victor
