In Word, if in your Preferences>View> "Field Shading" = "Always" it would shade any field. This could include a date, a header, or an equation. And in the PC version this does indeed work.
However, in Word 2004 for Mac it will NOT shade an equation. I need this for the class I teach where I type the equation in white so the kids cant see it on the printout, but I can on my Powerbook.
Does anyone know of any other way to keep a particular field from printing? Or a solution to this. Thank you for your help.
