Might Mouse Problem

The problem for the mighty mouse mouse is that some times it just spazzs out. What I mean is that when I touch the mouse like in the click area, it does the function of the side buttons and it keeps doing this repeatly like non stop. A clicking sound keeps going on when im not click and just touching te click area.

Note: I have configured the right click area to do the right cllck function equivalent to a Windows XP right click function.
 
You could disable the side functions, but to be it sounds like a hardware issue with the mouse. You might want to try to bring it back to apple. Apparently, lots of people are unhappy with their not-so-mighty-mice.
 
I have that happen too. The side buttons are very sensitive. You're probably actually squeezing them just enough to make them activate.
